We first saw The Vineyards at Moriches when only the models were up and I can remember walking into the ranch model and saying to Ed “I could live here”. Little did I know that 5 years later that would be exactly what we would be doing. When we were ready, we looked at every 55 community out there, lower and higher in price, but we always came back to The Vineyards, nothing else we saw could compare. Finally, we decided to do it and we have never looked back. We are here now a year and a half and we couldn’t be happier. Loving our home is only part of it. This is a very small community and the people here couldn’t be better. There is always someone around to help if needed. There are activities for the men, the women and couples not to mention the many parties throughout the year. And of course, if you are not a joiner, that’s OK too. You do what interests you and have a ball doing it. You can always hear laughter whenever we get together. We have made some really great friends here and are so glad we took the plunge and came. Our kids have told us we have a better social life than they do!, and when they come here in the summer, they feel like they’re coming to a resort. Life is great and it just keeps getting better.

As the song says “I’ve had the time of my life, and I’ve never felt this way before.” That sums up our home buying experience from start to finish at the Vineyards at Moriches in Center Moriches. Both of us being early retired, we decided we wanted to get out of the hustle and bustle of Queens, NYC and wanted to be on vacation for the rest of our lives! We started our search in Florida, Williamsburg, VA and then Lancaster, PA. We were looking for that perfect 55 and over community close to shopping, restaurants, etc.
The Vineyards fit our criteria. From the start, OLC’s sales team was exceptional. Headed by Diane along with her staff Kristin and Elaine, they treated us not only as valued customers, but as special guests and friends. There was nothing too small or too large for them to help make our dream home come true. Since we never purchased a new home, we had many questions, ideas and concerns. Anything we asked was thoughtfully responded to with expertise that went above and beyond. Kudos to Diane! We couldn’t have been so happy at the Vineyards without her and her staff!
Since we looked at many housing developments, we knew that OLC would give us the best product for our money. Not only is our home beautiful, we are confident it is well constructed. We can’t offer enough praise for the quality of workmanship. Henry who is in charge of construction is instrumental in making it all happen. From the day we moved in to today, 9 months later, we are confident we made the right move. The residents are so warm and friendly. We have social events on a weekly basis. We have made the best friends! We have a beautiful clubhouse with a gym and pool, tennis and bocce courts. What more can we ask for? And we are so close to the Hamptons and the North Fork of Long Island. We are very happy homeowners at the Vineyards and would highly recommend living here thanks to the team at the Vineyards and OLC!

I recently closed title on a Berkeley model townhouse, located in the above captioned subdivision. I am writing this letter to commend you for delivering a very fine home in a timely fashion.Your sales staff was extremely kind and helpful in dealing with the apprehensions of a new homebuyer. Their courtesy was only exceeded by the professional manner they employed in guiding us through the process (always with a smile). The construction staff was aware of the time constraints I was under and they zealously approached the problem and quickly completed the dwelling in a workmanlike fashion. As with any new home, there are little glitches that must be attended to. Your crew has been responsive to these repairs and have addressed a majority of the problems immediately.

Please accept this note as a small token of our appreciation for the fine home that we now have the pleasure of residing in. When we signed our contract, we knew that Ornstein Leyton had a very good product. Now that we have been in the house over six months, we can really appreciate the architectural nuances and the quality of the construction. The layout, room size and closet space are superb. The quality of material used for exterior siding at Blind Brook Estates is also far superior to other sidings used in new construction. We are delighted with the appliances and we find that the utility bills for the new house are much less than the bills for our prior home.Last but not least, we enjoyed working with your sales and construction staff. We were pleased with the selections that were available and we were most thankful for the cleaning crew that you sent to the house the day after we moved in. Keep up the good work.

We have but one word to describe our experience with the Vineyards at Moriches……….Great! Right from the start, the sales people were very helpful with advising us of various options and different things to add to the house. When we had more questions about different things, they sought out the answers for us and directed to the different places and other homeowners who had similar questions on where to get and how to do different things and everyone really helped us plan our move and do changes to the house that we wanted. The people in the community are really great. It is a great place to live in. There are numerous things going on in the community and the people living there really make you feel being a part of everything going on. The lifestyle is great, the area is great. The whole experience of moving out there has been great and everyone has been so helpful. We love living there and recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to live.

After looking at several condominiums on Long Island, we have recently purchased in the Vineyards. The attraction to the Vineyards was the extremely courteous, patient and cooperative staff we dealt with, along with the overall build quality of the homes, enhanced by the reputation of the builder. It was a pleasure to work with the sales and construction staff who were very accommodating of our requirements. From the very beginning, the Vineyards staff demonstrated a willingness to quickly resolve any and all concerns to our satisfaction. I would not hesitate to recommend (as I have) friends and family looking for a country club type atmosphere to live in.

We recently moved into our new home in The Vineyards at Center Moriches. We were attracted to the Vineyards because of the location. It has a Main Street and local shopping just minutes away. Upon entering the community, we immediately knew that OLC had created models that were superior to all we have seen. Working with the guidance of the design staff, sales representatives and contracting personnel allowed us the opportunity to create our dream home. As other home owners in the community reach out to us it is evident that we want to spend our retirement years in this warm, friendly and caring environment.

Robert and I decided to take a ride one Sunday just to “take a look” at a condo community called The Vineyard. I was pretty much ready to move onto a new stage in our lives where things would be easier than having a private home and all the details that go into maintaining it. We are still working our way to retirement (maybe someday!) and we seemed to never be at home. We have four children and eleven grandchildren and love to go places whenever we have the chance. Robert, however, was absolutely not ready to give up his house…until we walked into the office at The Vineyard and saw the model homes that were available. That was a day that changed our lives. The next thing I knew our house was on the market, and we were making selections on everything from bathroom tiles to kitchen cabinets. What fun to choose everything brand new! Diane and her staff at the Sales Office could not have been more helpful and cooperative. We are now in our lovely new home and couldn’t be happier. Life at The Vineyards couldn’t be better. The condo is beautiful and the people here are wonderful. You can participate as much or as little as you want in the community, but it is always nice to know that you are surrounded by a special group of people. Robert and I are both amazed at how quickly we adapted to this new lifestyle and how much we both love it.

It has been over six months since we moved into our new home in Rye Brook, NY. We wanted to share with you some of our thoughts.Building a new home is not an easy process from both a buyer and a builder’s perspective (we should know – this is the second home we have built.) Gene, Christopher, Jennifer and the rest of your onsite team did everything possible to make the building experience as enjoyable as possible. They always treated our family with professional and personal respect. They took the time to make sure our house was unique and beautifully designed. Special thanks to Gene for being open and honest with us throughout the entire process. In our experience these are hard qualities to find in the building industry.
The house itself came out better than we ever dreamed of. Again, this is a tribute to the entire team including Tuk (grading), Steve (tiling), and John (electric), etc. Each of the professionals followed up with us to make sure we were happy with their work.In conclusion, I suppose the ultimate complicate that you can pay a builder is…..we look forward to building another house many years from now.

As an alumnus of the Congressional Youth Leadership Council, I was invited to attend the inauguration of President George W. Bush and thanks to the generosity of sponsors Alec Ornstein and Scott Leyton, I was able to attend this once in a lifetime event. Their sponsorship enabled me to take part in one of America’s most coveted ceremonies.I am grateful to have had the opportunity to be part of this historic occurrence and I thank Ornstein Leyton Company for making it possible.

I wanted to drop you a short note to recognize the people within your company that have done an outstanding job for me and my children. We could not be happier with our home and the community your firm has developed has turned out far better that we ever could have imagined when we first looked at “Lot 6”. Your team has helped us to create our own little oasis in Rye Brook and as you are probably aware, many of us are already getting unsolicited offers for our homes (perhaps the greatest compliment of all).My first interaction was when Lot 6 went on the market and I met Jen and Gene. Let me start with Jen. Jen was very professional throughout the negotiation process and we felt we were dealt with very fairly. Once the business side was out of the way, Jen was a tireless advisor helping us to pick out the most appropriate amenities and offering great suggestions on how to complete the house. I am sure at times wore Jen’s patience thin, particularly at the end when we wanted to keep coming and seeing the house on a daily basis, but Jen was always welcoming, and we truly appreciate her style and approach to getting things done.
After meeting with Jen, I met Gene. I cannot express to you how grateful we are for Gene’s efforts. There was not a single time when I asked Gene for help or counsel and he was not there right away with the right advise. My view of business is very simple, I find the best people to work with and I stick with them. Gene’s approach is that of a problem solver who has been available for us 24/7. Our home looks great inside and out and the craftsmanship of our house is top-notch. Gene was always on top of his crew ensuring that on the day we moved in everything was done as promised. Once we were in, our punch list items were knocked off immediately. Gene had great vision for how the house and landscaping could come together. It is obvious he takes great pride in his work. Now that everything is completed with the landscaping and pool, I invite you to come back for a tour. It is very rare to find someone like Gene who can tackle so many issues and make everyone feel like they are number one.In closing, I want to thank you, your firm, Gene and Jen in particular for creating a home and environment way beyond anything we could have hoped for when we first came on this site. Please feel free to use me as a reference any time.

We just wanted to send you a quick note expressing our sincere gratitude for the wonderful job you did building our new home in the Blind Brook Estates Development in Rye Brook. Our finished house is everything we dreamed about and more in terms of building quality and architecture.Blind Brook Estates is already a thriving community rather than a collection of 40 distinct houses. Thanks to your efforts, the homes complement each other nicely and make the area conducive to families as evidenced each evening by the many kids playing outside together throughout Blind Brook Estates.Thank you for creating our wonderful dream home!

From our first visit to the Vineyards we felt warmth that we did not feel at any other development we looked at. After our second visit we met a few of the owners and we then knew that this is where we wanted to be. Working with the staff at the Vineyards, planning our home was a wonderful experience. Things just fell into place so easily. We moved in July 9, 2010 and have felt like we have been on vacation ever since.

As a first time home buyer, it’s very important that you choose a homebuilder with an excellent reputation and Ornstein Leyton Company certainly fulfilled my expectations.I am very satisfied with all of the staff at Three Village Green. Especially, I thank Mary Giannelli at the Sales Office for her kindness and professional way of handling my job although I was always asking a lot of questions and requests.I am so glad that I bought my first house from this company because they made me feel just right at HOME!!!!!

In April it will be a year that we moved to the Vineyards. From the time the moving truck arrived at our home, neighbors came to greet us, some with welcoming gifts. I am so impressed with how friendly and family oriented everybody is. It is so nice to see how grandchildren are welcomed at the pool during the summer. There are community activities for the whole community as well as for individual interests. It’s fun socially as well as learning new things. The sales office helped us get over obstacles that were specific to us. They did it in a professional, helpful and friendly manner. We are more than satisfied with our decision to come live at the Vineyards.
